FixHome+ is the best app for home maintenance

I live in a townhouse and was happy to find out that my home is serviced by FixHome+. It’s the first handyman service I’ve seen with an app. After downloading, I quickly learned how to manage a task list and started adding tasks right away. During the Demo visit, the handyman helped me add more tasks by inspecting the bedroom ceilings and walls with a thermal camera. He also replaced the batteries in the carbon monoxide detector, smart lock, and two light bulbs and installed a cover (not sure what it’s called) on an old non-working outlet.

During his second visit, which lasted two hours, Roman had plenty of time and tackled a bunch of tasks.. He fixed two spots on the wall – one in the bedroom and another under the kitchen countertop where there was a big unpainted patch. He also replaced the bedroom lock with a handle, two switches, the HVAC filter, and the water filter under the sink.

Roman suggested I add grout work in the bathroom to the task list for the next visit, and I’ve already added it. Overall, the whole process was fast and easy. I didn’t have to waste time explaining over the phone – I just uploaded photos of the issues and described them in the app. The handyman showed up with everything ready. He worked so quickly on the walls that it’s clear he’s done this many times before!
